Accounts Payable Specialist

Manage the full accounts payable process
Work with SAP / SAP S/4HANA
Handle high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing
Support vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, and month-end close
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve AP issues

Key Responsibilities

Process and validate high-volume PO and non-PO invoices.
Perform 3-way matching , coding, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
Review invoices for approvals, tax treatment, documentation, and policy compliance.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Prepare payment proposals and execute scheduled supplier payment runs.
Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations .
Review AP aging reports and reconcile vendor statements.
Create and maintain vendor master data in SAP .
Verify vendor banking, tax, legal, and payment information.
Identify and escalate duplicate or potentially fraudulent vendor records.
Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

3–5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Experience in a high-volume or shared services environment preferred
Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payments, and 3-way matching
SAP experience required; SAP S/4HANA preferred
Strong Excel skills , including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position in Princeton, NJ during training, after that we are open to remote . Onsite presence may vary based on training, team needs, and business requirements.
