Virginia Green’s Summer Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real projects across a variety of departments.

Bring your ideas to a team that connects Virginia Green with customers, employees, and communities. As a Marketing Intern , you’ll gain exposure to campaigns, content, events, and the work behind a growing brand while building practical experience across different areas of marketing.

• Support strategic development and execution of internal and external marketing efforts (this could include some design work)
• Assist with marketing operations (calendar, billing, and monthly deliverables)
• Assist with tracking and reporting of all internal efforts to help refine and improve efforts on-going
• Help to keep website current, relevant and information accurate (working with other departments)
• Assist with marketing events and activities
• Conduct market and consumer research

• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills – detailed oriented
• Knowledge of social networking channels
• Familiar with CRM databases
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of web site design and development a plus
• Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus

Education and Experience

• Must be a current college student in good standing: Marketing, Advertising or Communications majors preferred.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs. 

• Are curious and eager to learn: Ask questions, explore new ideas, and build skills beyond the classroom.

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
